Foodshare Employment and Training (FSET) Program Services, Phase 1
FSET is a free employment and training program designed to provide FoodShare recipients with assistance and support necessary to obtain competitive employment. FSET also provides one option by which Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWDs) may meet the mandatory work requirement necessary to maintain eligibility for FoodShare. The program strives to identify the strengths, needs, and preferences of job seekers and offers individualized services to improve job-seeking skills and increase employment opportunities. Program components include job search, work experience, workfare, education and vocational training, self-employment, and job retention.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Division of Health Care Access and Accountability, seeks innovative proposals to administer the program for ABAWDs and non-ABAWDs in Wisconsinís Southeast Workforce Development Area, Region 1 (Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth counties) with a primary goal of improving participants' employment outcomes through efficient, evidence-based program administration and service provision.

The initial contract will be for twenty-nine (29) months (two years and five months) with two one-year renewal options for a total contract term not to exceed fifty-three (53) months (four years and five months).
