HIV Care Grants
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is the Wisconsin grantee of the federal Ryan White Part B funds issued by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA),HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB). The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program is a federal program that funds HIV-related services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS who have no health insurance, have insufficient health care coverage, or lack financial resources to obtain the needed care for HIV disease. The Ryan White Program, therefore, fills gaps in care not met by other payers and addresses the social determinants of health that contribute to HIV- related health disparities.
